The Ming Dynasty of China(명나라)

The Ming Dynasty of China was established in 1368 by Zhu Yuanzhang, a former Buddhist monk who had rebelled against the Mongol-led Yuan Dynasty. Under Ming rule, China experienced a period of cultural and economic prosperity, with the construction of iconic landmarks such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden City. The dynasty's early years saw the rise of eunuch power and the voyages of Admiral Zheng He, who led a series of maritime expeditions to Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, and East Africa. However, the Ming Dynasty also faced challenges, including peasant uprisings, corruption, and invasions by the Manchu in the north. The dynasty's decline began in the 16th century, with a series of weak rulers and economic stagnation. In 1644, the Manchu overthrew the Ming Dynasty and established the Qing Dynasty.
